What Is Eco-Revolution?

Eco-Revolution was created to help save energy, maintenance costs and to become a source of energy efficient lighting products. Its founders have been working with manufacturers to bring to market the best in energy saving lighting products and to build a business model that allows Americans to go green and create a change within the lighting industry.

At the moment there is a shift in the public view and more and more people are sitting up and wondering why they are paying so much for energy and using outdated and old technologies to light their buildings. The concept is simple: generating power costs money and resources, so each bit of energy wasted is bad for your bottom line, whether you're a corporation or an environmentalist. Thankfully, decreasing waste can be as simple as changing a light bulb. An LED uses 75 percent less energy than a regular bulb, and can last ten times longer.

Many governments have recognized the benefits of better energy efficiency. In Russia, the U.S., and the European Union, inefficient incandescent bulbs will be phased out by 2014. And in October, President Obama granted $3.4 billion in funding to enhance the U.S. "smart" grid. Increasing the efficiency of the grid by just 5 percent would be the equivalent of taking 53 million cars off the road.
